About me
Steyn Huizinga started his career in 1999, at the age of 14. Initially as a webdeveloper for e-commerce sites and later as Linux and Network Engineer. He continued his career as a self-employed Solution Architect with a strong focus on security and hosting. Steyn joined Oblivion in 2015 as a Cloud Consultant.
Oblivion and AWS
He is passionate about AWS. In 2021 he was welcomed by Amazon Web Services (AWS) as an APN Ambassador, a very select group of individuals who are passionate about sharing their AWS technical expertise. Blessed to be working with like-minded AWS professionals at AWS Premier Consulting Partner Oblivion. Within Oblivion he has the opportunity to fully focus on AWS and work with innovative and fashionable projects on a daily basis.
AWS Certifications
Soon after joining Oblivion he managed to get his first AWS Certifications. Within a year he was able to get the all-5 (the maximum number of available certifications). Now it’s a balancing act between learning new stuff and the recertification train.
